Just In Time for Summer...

April, 1998

AlbemarleKids.com is an extensive project of Spring Hollow Publishing, Inc.. The site is designed to be the ultimate resource for families in our community and we are committed to help our children in need by donating 10% of our proceeds to local children's charity organizations. We want to make every aspect of a busy parent's life easier, and enrich the lives of our children, by encouraging the precious gift of time in activities that will build healthy, happy memories. A survey taken of 7th graders in both Charlottesville and Albemarle County by the Girls and Boys Club revealed that an estimated 83% of families in Albemarle County alone have computers at home. As you know that number is increasing rapidly. According to census records, we expect to have an estimated 30,000 children in both our city and county by the year 2000. Clearly, our family market here in Albemarle/Charlottesville is both technically advanced and growing! We hope you'll enjoy using the site. Click here for the full press release.
